McKinney-Vento Homeless Act
If you lost your housing due to economic hardship, natural disaster, or other similar reason, and are living temporarily with friends/relatives or in a shelter, motel, vehicle, campground, on the street, or in an abandoned building, then you are eligible to receive services provided under the McKinney-Vento Act. Regardless of your housing status, every child has the right to an education and additional services must be provided by the school. If you are not in a permanent home, please contact Tiffany Rowley, Palm Pointe's homeless liaison. She can be reached at (772) 345-3245 or tiffany.rowley@stlucieschools.org. Please see the attached documents for more information.
